Ryan Gosling discusses his film The Nice Guys and the unusual character he plays. He says the movie's director, Shane Black, is a genre himself, and that his films are ones Ryan grew up watching. Aside from Shane's involvement, Ryan says Russell Crowe's attachment to the project, as well as the mermaids and giant, smoking talking bee in the film, were elements that attracted him to the picture. He describes his character Holland March, explores the comedic chemistry he and Russell created and the fun he had carrying out his own action sequences.
